Doug began drawing tattoo designs for fellow Marines while on deployments. However, it soon became more than a hobby when he decided he could turn this into his profession and stop getting shot at. After moving back to Cleveland, he began his carrier at his new home, Voodoo Monkey.
Doug loves working with a customer to create custom art and, considers himself very lucky to be doing what he loves.
Doug gets inspiration everywhere from movies to music and other artists such as Jea Lee, Ashley Wood, Geof Darrow, Paul Pope, And Chod Kimes.
